In game one of the Regional’s at Lapel Tipton faced Monroe Central. Although Monroe Central beat The Tipton Blue Devils it was not an easy game for them. Tipton played very hard and the final score was 42-36.
Top scorers for Tipton were Nate Powell with 16 points, and Nolan Swan adding 10 points.
Top scorers for Monroe Central were Jackson Ullom with 16 points, Josiah Ullom and Gavin Smithson Burciaga each added 10 points.
In game 2 of the Regional’s It was Carroll and Rensselaer.
Carroll defeated Rensselaer 60-45 and advanced to final game against Monroe Central in which they defeated them 44-23 to become Regional Champions.
Top scorers for Carroll were Owen Duff with 21 points, Jake skinner with 19 points, and Chris Huerta adding 10.
Carroll (24-1) will play Central Noble (27-2)in Semi-State game Saturday In Elkhart.
