Community members are invited to enjoy food, family, and fun while supporting local youth at the upcoming Boone County 4-H Chicken & Pork Chop BBQ, a long-standing tradition that helps raise funds for programs and improvements at the Boone County 4‑H Fairgrounds.
The event will take place Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Lebanon.
A Community Tradition
Organized by Boone County 4-H and supported by the Boone County Extension Homemakers, the annual barbecue has become a popular community gathering that raises money for youth development programs and fairground improvements.
Meal Options
Guests will have several meal choices available:

$15 Meal: Pork chop or half chicken, macaroni and cheese, applesauce, and a drink

New this year – $5 Meal: All-beef hot dog, macaroni and cheese, and a drink
Desserts prepared by the Extension Homemakers will also be available for an additional cost.
Silent Auction Returns
Attendees can also participate in the return of the event’s silent auction basket fundraiser, offering a variety of themed baskets and items donated by local supporters.
Supporting Local Youth
Proceeds from the event will benefit local 4-H youth and support projects and improvements at the Boone County fairgrounds. Organizers encourage residents to bring family and friends to enjoy a meal while supporting a great cause.
