Postponed: Boone County Chamber Hosts First ‘Women In Business’ Event Of 2025

The Boone County Chamber of Commerce and Aspire Healthcare announced the postponement for their first Women in Business event for 2025 originally set for tomorrow, Jan. 7.

The event was to be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at CoHatch in Zionsville. Due to the snowy weather, the event has been postponed with a makeup date not released yet.

When the event kicks off on the makeup date, it will start with a breakfast catered by North High Brewing before attendees are treated to a discussion by guest speaker Dr. Joanna Chambers, who will share on the topic of “Attachment Theory: Neurobiological and Psychological Fundamentals to Healthy Relationships.”

Chambers completed her medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and her Psychiatry Residency at Yale University School of Medicine. She has spent the past two decades working in a variety of teaching, mentoring and administrative roles in Academic Psychiatry. She has a specific interest in women’s health, perinatal psychiatry and treatment of substance use disorders. She applies both psychodynamic and neurobiological fundamentals to the clinic setting with a focus on maternal attachment to their infants and children.
