The Boone County Sheriff’s Office noted that this year’s annual Christmas with a Cop event was successful as the community came together to spread holiday cheer with unforgettable experiences.
Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, dozens of kids were granted the opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts alongside numerous Boone County officers, where they shared smiles, laughter and excitement that superseded any price tag.
“This event is about so much more than presents–it’s about building connections, creating memories and showing the power of community during the holiday season,” the department released. “A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered or supported this event. You made a difference in the lives of these families and reminded us all of what the holidays are truly about.”
