A Boone County man is facing several serious felony charges after authorities allege he shot at a crop-dusting aircraft that flew over his property last summer.
Kedrick Miller, 41, has been charged with:
- Attempted murder, a Level 1 felony
- Disrupting the operation of an aircraft, a Level 4 felony
- Criminal recklessness, a Level 5 felony
- Intimidation with a deadly weapon, a Level 5 felony
The charges stem from an incident on Friday, July 18, 2025, when a crop duster aircraft was reportedly shot in the area of State Road 32 and State Road 75.
According to authorities, the aircraft was able to land safely following the incident, and the pilot was not injured.
Investigators allege the aircraft was struck by gunfire while it was operating in the area. The investigation later led to the filing of felony charges against Miller.
The case will now proceed through the Boone County court system.
