The Boone County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain Division was celebrated Thursday for their completion of a two-week training program to improve their processes and opportunities.
The members of the Chaplain Division underwent training ranging from policy and procedures to mental health and mindset, and the Chaplains are now equipped with the knowledge and skills to serve the community in times of need in an even more efficient and effective manner.
The Sheriff’s Office extended an individual statement of gratitude to Senior Chaplain Joni Scott for leading the charge in bringing the training to fruition for her fellow Chaplains in Boone County.
“Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed,” the Sheriff’s Office released. “Let’s continue to support and uplift each other as we strive to make a positive impact.”
