Boone County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes New Hires, Announces Promotions

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office recently announced new updates for the department, including four new hires and five promotions for team members.

The department announced the hiring of Max Johnson, David Carrillo and Phil Lillege as Merit Deputies who will begin attending the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in May as well as Jennah El-Shahat as a Corrections Officer.

Promotions include Sgt. Tyler Moriarty as Afternoon Shift Merit Sergeant, Sgt. Zach Aiduks and Sgt. Nikki Knox as Communications Sergeants, Kayla Kiefer as Assistant 911 Communications Director and Sgt. Kora Hutchins as Communications Sergeant.
