The Boone County Solid Waste Management District encouraged community organizations seeking to install a recycled plastic bench that will last for numerous years into the future to participate in the A Bench for Caps program through the district.
Through the program, all organizations throughout Boone County may participate and reach toward installing a new bench by collecting, sorting, cleaning and weighing plastic bottle caps. In return for their efforts, the organizations are able to recycle their caps into a bench.
Interested organizations are encouraged to apply for the program at boonecountysolidwaste.com. All organizations in Boone County are eligible to participate.
