The Boone County Solid Waste Management District has announced its upcoming five-part education series based around teaching community members about their role in protecting the local environment.
The program is open to school-age kids through adult ages. The programs are set to occur at the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library in Zionsville.

Community members who attend three classes will earn a special gift, and those who attend all five classes will receive a prize pack. To be eligible for the prize pack, community members must have attended the Feb. 24 edition of the series.
