Boone EDC Announces Second Round Of Digital Upgrade Grant

The Boone Economic Development Corporation announced the opening of Round 2 for the Digital Upgrade Grant to empower small businesses in Boone County.

The second round of the Digital Upgrade Grant builds upon the first round as a grant geared at enhancing digital capabilities for local small businesses across the Boone County area. According to the Boone EDC, small businesses are at the forefront of innovation, and the grant will help further their ability to enter the digital world.

“Small businesses are the backbone of the community, and the Boone EDC recognizes the importance of equipping them with the tools and resources needed to thrive in today’s increasingly digital economy,” Boone EDC released in their announcement. “The Digital Upgrade Grant aims to assist these businesses in adopting and integrating technology to streamline operations, enhance online presence and remain competitive in the ever-evolving business landscape.”

Round two of the grant will allow small businesses to further invest in their digital infrastructure and capabilities, such as website development, e-commerce and integration, digital marketing and other technology-driven solutions.

Round two of grant builds upon round one of the grant where the Boone EDC states that it saw success stories of local businesses being granted the opportunity to transform their digital presence, such as increased efficiency, expanding customer reach and improving overall competitiveness.
