Boyce W. Adams Sr., 84, of Danville and a former Frankfort resident, passed away May 26, 2025 at Countryside Meadows, Avon, IN. He was born August 1, 1940 in Logan County, Kentucky to Minor Ray & Minnie Rose (McMillen) Adams. He was formerly married to Brenda Adams and she passed in 1996. He then married Teresa K. “Terry” Hill on April 25, 1998 and she survives.
Boyce was a 1958 graduate of Chandler High School and attended college for 2 years. He was a raw materials manager at Frito Lay for 27 years. After retiring he then worked at Speedway Convenience Store in Frankfort. He was a member of the Community Christian Church. Boyce enjoyed going to the casinos and was an auto mechanic.
Boyce is survived by his wife, Terry, children, Boyce Wayne Adams Jr. of New Albany Indiana, Eric Wayne (Pam) Adams of W. Lafayette, John (Patricia) Adams of Southern Indiana, Rebecca Webster of Oregon, step-children, Debbie (David) Hand of Louisville, KY, Lisa (Michael) Lucas of Jacksonville, FL, Chris (Gary) Schlachter of Apex, NC, Kimberly (Tom) Helvaty of Danville, James “Randy” (Jenny) Sexton of Cicero, sister, Joyce (Steve) Head of Idaho, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Brenda, son, Darryl Ray Adams, sisters, Wilma Rogers and Dorothy Davis.
Visitation will be 12 Noon-2 p.m. June 6, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Shan Sheridan will officiate.
