Brandon Kyle West, 30, of Frankfort, passed away on August 28, 2020 in Somerset, Kentucky. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on October 27, 1989 to Cynthia (Ostler) Pitcock, who survives, and Richard Lee West, Jr. who preceded him in death.
He worked at Poindexter Excavating, Inc. He enjoyed riding horses, riding motorcycles, and building derby cars. He was a prankster but also a good-hearted man who was willing to help anyone at any time. He loved spending time with his family, but most of all, his daughter, Jo, who was his pride and joy.
In addition to his mother, Brandon is survived by his daughter, Jocelynn “Jo” West; step-father, David Pitcock; brothers, Mike Sutton (companion, Anna Spencer), Cameron Sutton (Brittany Luna Sutton), and Chance West (wife, Hannah); sisters, Ashley West (fiancé, Ryan McQueen), Sarena Pitcock (husband, Eric) Ort, and Kim Bridgman; grandmother, Ruth Ostler; and 15 nieces and nephews
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Ostler.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, Ind. Funeral service will be on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed and may be viewed at www.gendafuneralhome.com. Pastor Jim Tidd will officiate. Burial will follow at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort, Ind.
Memorial contributions in Brandon’s honor may be made to Genda Funeral Home, 608 N. Main St., Frankfort, Indiana 46041 and will go into a fund for his daughter.
