Brandon Jay Vinard, 37, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Frankfort on March 1, 1983 to Jay Alan and Melissa Lynn (Moore) Vinard.
Brandon graduated as salutatorian from Clinton Central High School in 2001 and from Ball State University in 2005. He was a self-employed trader and an IU fan. He enjoyed Nascar, playing Euchre, bingo, and bowling, of which he was an officer in a local bowling league.
Brandon is survived by his parents Jay (wife, Tina) Vinard and Melissa Thomas; brothers, Jon Bankert and Dustin Bankert; sisters, Leah Myers and Makala Thomas; grandparents, Sue Vinard and Richard Moore. He was also loved by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald J. Vinard and grandmother, Rosie Moore.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Genda Funeral home in Frankfort. The family requests that masks be worn. The funeral service will follow at 4:30 pm at the funeral home with live-stream video of the service available at www.gendafuneralhome.com. Pastor Eric Simpson will officiate.
