Braylie Pauline Kellogg, 16, Rossville, went to her heavenly home, Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was born December 29, 2005, in Lafayette to Benjamin Kellogg and Keyya (Pettit) Smith.
Braylie was a sophomore at Rossville High School. She was a life-long member of 4-H where she enjoyed showing sheep. She was a lover of animals, was passionate about playing basketball, volleyball and softball, enjoyed music, was an avid Purdue fan, and loved hanging with her family and friends. Braylie was a sweet young lady, with a shy disposition until she warmed up to you. That is when her goofy personality and fun sense of humor shined through. Braylie was also a strong young woman that persevered through many of life’s obstacles and did so with grace and humility. She was loved and will be missed by many.
Braylie is survived by her parents. Benjamin (Andrea) Kellogg and Keyya (Bryan) Smith; brother, Jaden; step-brothers, Mason, Kai, Logan, and Austin; step-sisters, Bailey, Aislynn, and Aerian; grandparents, Joseph and Sandra Kellogg, Janice Pettit, Jim and Donna Smith, and Joe Swisher; great grandmother, Florence Kellogg; and aunts and uncles, Eric Kellogg, Julie (Josh) Bogan, and Matt (Rebecca) Swisher.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Ned Pettit and Terri Swisher.
Visitation will be held, Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 1-5pm at Rossville High School. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 2pm at the high school. Pastor Eric Alwine will officiate. Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are with Genda Funeral Home~Rossville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorial contributions be made in Braylie’s honor to Rossville High School Athletic Department with checks made to RCSD, P.O. Box 530 Rossville, IN 46065.
