Breawna Caldwell was crowned the 2020 Clinton County 4-H Fair Queen Friday night in the Edward Jones 4-H Community Building at the Clinton County Fairgrounds.

Caldwell was one of 12 candidates vying for the title.

“I just spent all week at practice and then I would drive around and practice my speech and practice my answers to myself,” said Caldwell about her preparation. “One night, all my friends hung out with me in our garage and I just practiced like that.”

Caldwell is a double major at Purdue in Agronomy and Agri-Business. After she graduates, she plans on going into the agricultural research industry with the hopes of eventually owning her own contract research company.

Addy Weaver was named First Runner-Up, Katie Blacker was named Second Runner-Up and Emma Price won Miss Congeniality.

The queen and her court will be at the Clinton County 4-H Fair throughout the week until it wraps up on July 18.
