Bret Alan Taylor, 50, of Colfax, Ind., died April 16, 2021. He was born March 6, 1971 in Lebanon, Ind. to Gordon & Mary (Mundell) Taylor. He married Wendy Smith on August 22, 1998 in Sacramento, CA and she survives.
Bret was a 1989 graduate 
of Clinton Prairie High School. He worked for Hendrickson’s in Lebanon. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served from May 9, 1991 to May 6, 1997 in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. Bret was a member of the DAV, and Team RWB. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, archery, traveling and loved his dogs.
He is survived by his wife: Wendy Taylor of Colfax, son: Jenson Taylor of Colfax, parents: Gordon & Mary Taylor of Colfax, brother: John (Shannon) Taylor of Frankfort, 2 sisters: Melodie Cline of Kokomo and Lisa (Roger) Rhine of Lafayette and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services:
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.
