The Scrapbasket Quilt Guild from Brownsburg, Indiana has been very busy supporting our Witham Health Services Cancer patients. The Guild has made over 29 beautiful quilts for our patients in the Oncology area of Witham Health Services. They have a goal of making at least 50 quilts for our patients.
The quilts are handmade with love. Some of the quilts even have a story behind them, which adds to their beauty.
Carol Iacobelli and Joyce Kirkendall are Co-Chairs of the Guild. Carol has a Witham Health Services personal connection. Carol has 5 family members that currently work at Witham Health Services, including her daughter, granddaughters and a niece.
The quilts are made of the fabric that allows them to be placed in the warmer. As a patient receives their infusion, they are covered with a beautiful warmed quilt to brighten their day.
The patients, staff and volunteers at Witham Health Services appreciate the Scrapbasket Quilt Guild from Messiah Lutheran Church for making a difference in our patient’s lives.
