Buck Joins Holcomb for Signing of Flood Control Legislation

State Sen. Jim Buck, R-Kokomo, seventh from right, joins Gov. Eric Holcomb, seated middle, as he ceremonially signs Senate Enrolled Act 386 into law at the Statehouse Wednesday, April 4. SEA 386, co-authored by Buck, benefits Hoosiers who live in a flood plain by allowing homeowners to create a tax increment financing district to help construct, repair and replace flood-control projects. This legislation received unanimous, bipartisan support in both the House of Representatives and Senate.
