Frankfort Street Superintendent Jason Forsythe has announced that Burlington Avenue from Green Street to Washington Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, weather permitting, so that Frankfort City, Light and Power employees can remove a massive tree.
Forsythe said that means no street traffic will be allowed in that area all day Tuesday. He added that residents will be able to get in and out of the Milky Way during the tree removal.
