Jim’s Heating and Air Conditioning was started in 2011 by Jim Scott. Co-owner and son Tyler Scott now helps lead the company. Jim’s is in the process of installing a major HVAC renovation in one of the largest buildings in Clinton County, Wesley Manor Retirement Center.
Like all nursing homes in Indiana, Wesley Manor is required by law to keep the temperature range of the rooms between 72 and 78 degrees. Jim’s Heating and Air Conditioning is currently installing a commercial grade HVAC system at Wesley Manor which will continue to maintain this comfort level for many years to come. The new system will feature WIFI thermostats and sensors. Wesley Manor is located on an 83 acre campus at the far north end of Main Street in Frankfort.
Jim’s is experienced in Geo Thermal systems, Commercial refrigeration, whole-house generators, ground loop installations, whole-house humidifiers and other technologies somewhat rare in the HVAC scope of work for most suppliers. Jim’s Heating and Air Conditioning serves Clinton, Boone and surrounding counties.
Jim’s Heating and Air Conditioning is active in the local community. Jim’s Heating and Air Conditioning Team members have volunteered time for several Habitat for Humanity projects. Team members at Jim’s have also volunteered for Head Start programs and installed HVAC for the local building trades home every year for the last several years at a reduced cost. Jim’s Heating and Air Conditioning personnel use this opportunity to teach local students about the precision and skill level needed to properly install an HVAC system.
Jim’s Heating and Air Conditioning recently donated the installation of a wall cooler at the Frankfort Parks Department. Jim Scott currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and donates time on the Building Committee there. Jim is also a Church Board Member at the First Church of the Nazarene in Frankfort.
