Thirty members of C.R.A.S.H. (Clinton County Raising Awareness and Supporting Hispanics) spent Thursday visiting Blue Ridge, Green Meadows, and Suncrest elementary schools to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through engaging and educational presentations.
Throughout the day, students learned about a variety of cultural traditions and topics, including national flags, traditional dances, quinceañeras, native animals, and how to make pupusas. In total, sixty-four presentations were given, allowing students to experience the richness and diversity of Hispanic cultures in an interactive way.
C.R.A.S.H. members shared their enthusiasm and pride, while elementary students showed great interest, asking questions and participating with energy and curiosity. The day was filled with learning, laughter, and cultural appreciation—an inspiring celebration of heritage and community connection.
