Selected 5th graders from all over Clinton County gathered at Camp Cullom Saturday for an all-expense paid day of discovery. Talented 5th graders with a knack for Science gathered at the Camp Cullom Nature Center filled with hands-on projects.

—-Solar Viewing and Observatory Lecture as possible by Russ Kaspar and Andy Schilling

The popular Camp Cullom Academy of Science is an opportunity each year to turn Camp Cullom into a giant Science Laboratory to foster an appreciation for Science while kindling a spirit of discovery in the minds of gifted area 5th graders.
The Camp Cullom Academy of Science was under the Direction of Leah Harden assisted by Camp Cullom Board Members.
Student selection is based on Clinton Country teacher nominations. A limited number of seats are also available on an application basis open to all 5th grade students including home school, Lafayette, Kokomo and Regional area 5th grade students.
