Camp Cullom Board Members Take a Walk Through the Camp

Monday afternoon before the monthly Camp Cullom Board meeting, several board members took a hike through the 90 acres at Camp Cullom.   Camp Cullom is owned by the children of Clinton County and contains a Nature Center, Lodge, Astronomical Observatory, Maple Syrup Sugar Shack, Bunkhouse in the woods, two ponds and a wetland area, meandering streams 16 campsites  and over 5 miles of marked trails and reportedly one of the best disc golf courses in the state.

The Camp Cullom board of directors were invited by board President and professional forester Jeff Swackhamer to join him on a tour of the camp Monday afternoon.

Enjoy the hike as seen by the board as we wind through forest and wetlands, streams and ponds.  Camp Cullom is open to all to enjoy free of charge and is intended to foster the health , well being and education of all who go there.  Camp Cullom is a United Way agency and United Way funds help support the year-round programs available to the public.

Camp Cullom is free and open to the public and is a treasured attraction for Clinton County and surrounding area.
