A car seat inspection event will be held Saturday, September 12, at the Delphi Tri-Township Fire Territory, located at 203 E. Main St. in Delphi.
The inspections will be available from 10 a.m. to noon and are by appointment only.
According to event information, as many as 85% of car seats are used incorrectly. The inspection will provide parents and caregivers an opportunity to have their child’s car seat checked to help ensure it is installed and being used properly.
Appointments can be scheduled by scanning the QR code provided with the event information or by contacting the Carroll County Health Department at 765-564-3420.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to take advantage of this free safety service to help make sure children are properly secured while traveling.
