Carol E. Hines, 70, Attica, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born January 15, 1951, in Clinton, Indiana, to Orville “Merle” and Mildred (Livingston) Fruits.
Carol was a 1969 graduate of Southwestern High School. She was an animal lover and had many pets through the years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending her time at home and being with her family.
Carol is survived by her children, Samuel “Sammy” (Karen) Brooks, Jr., Christina (Chris) Orem, Stacy (David) Nelson, and Billy (Molly) Brooks; her biological father, Mace Chaney, Jr.; five sisters; one brother; fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Larissa Orem.
