Carol J. Duckworth, 86, of Frankfort, passed away June 25, 2025 at I.U. Health Arnett, Lafayette, IN. She was born May 17, 1939 in Mansfield, Ohio to Ora King & Gracie M. (Angel) King Wilkins. She married Stanley R. Duckworth on June 23, 1962 in Michigantown and he survives.
Carol attended school in Bronston, Kentucky. She grew up in Kentucky and moved to Frankfort in 1955. She had worked at Essex Wire in Lafayette, Unilectric and Zachary Confections. She was of the Baptist Faith. Carol enjoyed crocheting, cooking and spending time with her family.
Carol is survived by her husband, Stanley Duckworth of Frankfort, children, Rocky Bell of Frankfort, Marsha Barber of Frankfort and Mike Duckworth of Frankfort, grandchildren, Mike (Lizz) Bell of Frankfort, Alisha (Shawn) Stevenson-Rountree of Frankfort, Josh (Tia) Bell of Frankfort, Amanda (Richard) Wallsmith of Frankfort, Lynley Bell of Pyrmont, Jeramy Bell of Frankfort, Ashtyon Bell and Addyson Bell, both of Frankfort, Starla (Brad) Baker, Randy (Courrtney) Barber and great grandchildren, Austin Bell, Abi Bell, Chloe (Jack) Deckard, Jordan Bell, Carston Nance, Caidyn Nance, Adrik Mounts, Parker Bell, Asher Bell, Sophia Bell, Holden Rountree, Madison Rountree, Roman Rountree, Sloan Rountree, Quinn Rountree, Landrie Baker, Lynnix Baker and Callie & Attlie Barber
She is preceded in death by her mother, Gracie Wilkins, step father, Harrison Wilkins, brothers, Charles King, Huston King, grandson Andrew Bell, granddaughter Stacy Stevenson, great-granddaughter, Harper Bell and daughter-in-law, Stella Bell.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bacon Cemetery. Please visit goodwinfuneralhome.com to leave a condolence.
