Carol Joann Flory, 92, life-long resident of Rossville, passed away on May 17, 2022, at Milner Community Health Care.
Carol was born in Clinton County on December 21, 1929, to Russell and Cora (Gascho) Flory. She attended Rossville High School and became a certified dental assistant in 1962. After a 30-year career as a dental lab assistant, she retired in 1995.
Prior to her move to Milner’s, Carol provided many volunteer hours to the residents and staff. She was a member of the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
Carol is survived by several beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, David (DonnaBelle) Flory; and sisters, Mary Kathryn (Myrl) Flora, Esther (Ralph) Flora, Mildred (Everett) Peters, and an infant sister, Mabel Flory.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home ~ Rossville Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday May 23, 2022, at Genda Funeral Home ~ Rossville Chapel, and at 10 a.m., Monday, at Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church, with the home brethren officiating. Burial will follow at Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church Cemetery.
