Tonight Frankfort’s Unified Neighborhoods (F.U.N.) went Christmas Caroling at Wesley Manor, Parkview Home and Clinton House. After the event Tammy Danner spoke for the group ” We had a great group show up to sing and I have to say we sounded pretty good. It was one of our most treasured events so far. To see the residents so excited to see us, sing along and even have tears in their eyes, it’s just something you can’t put into words. It was very rewarding for all of us to see the joy we brought to them but above all the joy they brought to us . To see them so happy and singing along , and some wanting their picture taken with us was very heartwarming. One of our songs was Frosty the Snowman and as we were singing Frosty mingled with the residents . We hope that we lifted up their spirits and let them know that we as a community value them and wish them only the best. With our last song, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, we walked around greeting them and wishing them a Merry Christmas. This is what we believe the true Christmas season is all about. So we at F.U.N. challenge everyone this Christmas season” “BE THE CHANGE’. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year”.
