Carolyn Ann Johnson, 74, of Frankfort, passed away at her residence Thursday, March 29, 2018. She was born February 24, 1944 in Clinton County to Herbert and Barbara (Ostler) Nye. She was a 1962 graduate of Clinton Central High School. She married Robert “Bob” Leamon Johnson on February 17, 1984. She attended Stockwell United Methodist Church and enjoyed mowing her yard, collecting angels, and spending time with friends, neighbors and her family, especially her grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Carolyn is survived by her stepson, Kenny Johnson of Fickle; stepdaughter, Brenda Lee Dowers of Tennessee; eight step grandchildren and several great step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nancy LaFary.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 1pm until the time of the service at 2pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Pastor Mark Berg will officiate. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery.
