The Purdue Extension of Carroll County has announced the upcoming Junior Leaders Showmanship Clinic set for May 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carroll County Fairgrounds at 102 N. 4th St. in Flora.
The event is designed for Mini 4-H members to meet their mentor, and the event is open to all 4-H members showing livestock to practice with the Purdue Livestock Judging Team.
Presentations will be given on nutrition and animal health with all four species, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs being covered.
4-H members looking to attend should RSVP by April 1, and reservations may be made at carrollshowmanship.4honline.com.
