YWCA Greater Lafayette announced that a Carroll County leader will be named as a 2025 Salute to Women Honoree during the 2025 Salute to Women event set for Thursday, March 6.
The organization announced that Community Development Director for the City of Delphi Julia Leahy has been selected as a 2025 Salute to Women Honoree.
“Join us in honoring Julia Leahy, a dedicated leader whose passion for community development has left an incredible mark,” the organization released. “From growing the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce to launching impactful initiatives like the Indiana Bacon Festival, Julia’s work has strengthened local businesses and organizations. Beyond her professional success, Julia’s heart for service shines through her leadership roles in many local organizations.”
Community members have been invited to celebrate the 51st year of Salute to Women at 5:30 p.m. on March 6 at The Stables Event Center at 7071 S. 100 E. in Lafayette. Tickets to participate cost $100, which will be utilized to continue the work of the YWCA Greater Lafayette in Tippecanoe County and surrounding counties.
