Carroll County Swine Show Now LIVE on Hoosierland TV Thursday July 18

One of the largest 4-H swine shows in the state is held each year at the Fairgrounds located on the east side of Flora.  139 4-H Youth will show 218 animals during the show, according to Grechen Campbell, Carroll County 4-H youth development educator.

The Carroll County Swine Show is LIVE and World-wide on www.HoosierlandTV.com.  The broadcast is produced by Michael Hall. 

Grechen Campbell is looking forward to her new position as Carroll County’s 4-H youth development educator.  She started her position June 10th.  Campbell is a native of Pulaski County and participated in 4-H in Jasper County.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Animal Science.  Gretchen was employed in Animal Reproduction prior to coming to Carroll County to serve as educator.  Campbell will be the first Purdue Extension Educator ever to serve Carroll County exclusively, allowing her to focus on the 4-H youth in Carroll County.

The Carroll County show arena will have new fans and new LED lighting this year, according to Campbell.  

The weather forecast for Thursday will be a pleasant 74 degree high with sunny skies in Flora.
