Carroll Soccer Season Ends In Regional Semifinal

The Carroll Boys Soccer season came to an end on Thursday at the hands of Faith Christian.

Faith Christian jumped on the Cougars early, leading 3-0 at the break. Faith Christain netted two more goals in the second before Isaiah Jones snuck one by the keeper for Carroll’s first goal. The Cougars couldn’t muster any more offense and fell 6-1.

The Cougars finish the season 12-8, falling in the Regional Semifinals for the second straight year.

Senior Eli Falkenberg ends the season with 43 goals, which marks ninth all-time for most goals in a single season. Falkenberg finishes his career with 112 career goals, good for fifth all-time.

Aiden Duff finished with a team-high 16 assists and 28 total points.

Freshman goalkeeper Ethan Johnson finished the season with 62 saves and five shut outs.
