According to an announcement released this week, the caucus is scheduled for May 23, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at the Frankfort Police Department, located at 1740 W. State Road 28 in Frankfort.
Party officials stated that all interested candidates must complete a CEB-5 form and submit a letter of intent no later than May 20. Materials should be directed to Party Chair Jordan Brewer.
The caucus will determine who will serve for the Clinton County sheriff position. Caucuses are commonly used in Indiana to fill vacancies in elected offices when an officeholder resigns, retires, or otherwise leaves office before the end of a term.
