CC Sheriff’s Office Announces Changes Due to Coronavirus

Beginning March 13, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is implementing some policy changes due to the coronavirus. The following is a letter from Clinton County Sheriff Rich Kelly.

Due to concerns for employees, visitors and inmates, the following will be effective immediately, until further notice, in the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and Jail:

–  Video Visitation will be suspended in the lobby.  All visitations MUST be done by remote visitation ONLY.  To schedule a remote visit you will need a computer or internet enabled mobile device with a speaker, camera and high-speed internet.  Visit inmatesales.com to schedule a request for visitation.  Customer Service for Friends/Family is 1-866-340-7879.  You may also download the free app InmateSales on AppStore or Google Play.

–   If you want to pay a bond, or add funds to an inmate’s account, go online to jailatm.com.  Cash walk-ins will be accepted for emergencies.

–   All classes/activities with outside vendors or instructors are SUSPENDED until further notice.  This includes, but not limited to, CASA, MRT, Unshackled and Church.

–   Church will be provided through alternative streaming options with approval of the Sheriff and/or Jail Commander.

–    Adult Education Classes will continue with our internal instructor.

–          The following visits will take place through the glass/handset visitation viewing area:

o   Attorney

o   Community Corrections

o   Probation

o   Chaplains

o   Department of Family Services (DFS)

o   Pre-Trial Release

–    IdentoGo Fingerprinting will take place in the Harrison Street Lobby.  Please arrive a few minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time at the side door off of Harrison Street, as there will be limited waiting area available inside the lobby.

–    Sex Offender Registration will be completed in the white mobile command center in the back parking lot, south side, of the Sheriff’s Office.

–     Administrative Office duties will continue as normal.  We encourage those needing to pay tax warrants do so online at indianataxwarrants.com, use the CC code and warrant number as login credentials.  This information is found on the tax warrant.
