The Clinton County Soil and Water Conservation District Annual Meeting and Election will be held virtually via Zoom due to COVID-19 precautions. The virtual meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2. Advance registration is required via Eventbrite at https://tinyurl.com/1v47tglc. After registering for your ticket through Eventbrite, you will be provided the Zoom link to join the Annual Meeting.
The meeting will include a brief business meeting and report of accomplishments of the past year. In addition, an election of supervisor will be held for one three-year term position. Clint Orr’s is seeking re-election of his expiring 3-year term. Nominations will be accepted from the floor. To hold the position of elected Supervisor, an individual: must be of voting age; must be an occupier of a tract of land that is located within the district; must maintain the individual’s permanent residence within the district; and must be qualified by training and experience to perform the duties that this imposes on supervisors.
