The Center Township Trustee’s office is collecting donations of toiletries and non-perishable snacks for the Red Cross. These items will be donated to the troops deployed from Fort Bragg. Most of these soldiers had as little as 12 to 24 hours’ notice of deployment and they left carrying a single pack. The Red Cross works directly with the troops to provide aid stations where soldiers can collect items to meet their immediate needs.
These immediate need items include the following:
Non-perishable snacks
Wet wipes or baby wipes
Travel sized toiletries, such as shampoo/conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shaving cream, razors
Feminine hygiene products (pads, tampons)
Ponytail holders (black and brown only)
Bobby pins
Please drop off your donated items to the Center Township Trustee’s office, located at 6 South Main Street, Frankfort during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m..
Donations will be collected until February 7. Please feel free to include your name and a note of encouragement or support. We will include these with the
final shipment.
