Clinton Central finished sixth overall and Frankfort took eighth in the girls’ swimming sectional Saturday at Zionsville. Central wound up with 140 points and FHS finished with 241. Zionsville took the team title with 542 points.

Central Falls in Sectional Basketball Final
North Vermillion outscored Clinton Central 17-7 in the fourth quarter en route to a 49-43 victory over the Bulldogs in the sectional basketball final at Attica on Saturday night. Clinton Central, which defeated Attica to reach the final on Friday, finishes 15-10.
North Vermillion advances to the Tri-Central Regional on Saturday where they will play Blue River Valley at 10 a.m.
Central Catholic Downs Rossville in Sectional Semifinal
Lafayette Central Catholic limited Rossville to single-digit scoring in the first three quarter on its way to a 53-34 victory over the Hornets Friday night in the Class 2A sectional semifinal at Sheridan.
Rossville, which finished 11-12, trailed just 13-10 after one quarter. LCC outscored Rossville 30-18 over the next two quarters to take a 43-28 lead into the fourth quarter.
Michelle Rodkey led Rossville with 15 points. Emma Lawson added nine points. Sammie Malson had a team-high nine rebounds.
Central Catholic went on to defeat Seeger 42-31 Saturday night in the championship game.
