The season came to a close on Saturday for both Clinton Central and Frankfort swimmers at the sectional meet in Zionsville as neither school was able to have anybody qualify for the state meet to be held February 28-29 at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis.
Top finishes for Frankfort included Tyler Harness, who was seventh in the 500 and ninth in the 200 IM. Harness was also part of two relay teams which finished ninth. The 200 medley relay consisted of Terry Glen Frye, Matthew Haynes, Harness and Ramsey Mitchell, while the 200 freestyle team was made up of Ethan Cook, Haynes, Mitchell and Harness.
The 400 freestyle relay of Cook, Jacob Crawig, Daniel Pritchett and Frye took eighth. Cook placed 11th in diving.
For Clinton Central, Erik McCarty was third in the 50 freestyle and sixth in the 100 butterfly. McCarty was part of the fourth place 200 medley relay team of Colton Payne, Owen Smith and Blake Mosbaugh and was part of the 200 freestyle relay team of Mosbaugh, Ashton Albaugh and Smith which placed fifth. Other top finishes for Central included Mosbaugh, who was ninth in the 100 freestyle and 10th in the 50 freestyle, Payne was eighth in the 100 backstroke, Albaugh was ninth in the 100 backstroke, Smith tied for ninth in the 100 breaststroke, while the 400 freestyle relay team of Wreese Sheets, John Dunn, Albaugh and Payne took seventh.

State Wrestling
Frankfort High School sophomore Elijah Anthony lost his opening match in the 113-pound division at the Indiana High School Athletic Association state wrestling meet Friday in Indianapolis.
Anthony lost to freshman Cheaney Schoeff of Avon 7-5 to finish his season at 38-4. Schoeff advanced to the title match where he lost to Alex Cottey of Perry Meridian 9-5.
