Central Indiana Could See Hazardous Winter Weather Over the Next Week

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the next seven days for Central Indiana.

For Friday and Friday night, a snow and a rain/snow mix expected for much of the area tonight that could lead to slick spots on the road. Up to around an inch of snow is possible in the far north.

On Saturday through Thursday, light snow may continue into Saturday morning. Another significant system is expected to mover through Indiana next Tuesday with the potential for rain, snow and wind.

Affected areas will be Clinton, Carroll, Warren, Tippecanoe, Howard, Fountain, Montgomery, Boone, Tipton, Hamilton, Madison, Delaware, Randolph, Vermillion, Parke, Putnam, Hendricks, Marion, Hancock, Henry, Vigo, Clay, Owen, Morgan, Johnson, Shelby, Rush, Sullivan, Greene, Monroe, Brown, Bartholomew, Decatur, Knox, Daviess, Martin, Lawrence, Jackson and Jennings.
