Central Swimmers Down Western Boone on Senior Night

The Clinton Central High School boys’ and girls’ swim teams posted victories over Western Boone on Senior Night Tuesday in Michigantown. The boys improved to 14-1 with a 122-49 victory over the Stars, while the girls finished their regular season with a 110-70 triumph over WEBO.

Kailie Burnette dropped 4 seconds in the 200 IM, Wreese Sheets pr’ed in 200 IM, so did Austin Orem, Isabelle Hendrickson, Avery Harris , and Ashton Albaugh pr’ed in the 50 free, Kailie Burnette , Austin Wells, and Austin Orem pr’ed in 100 fly, Reagan KImmell pr’ed in 500 free, Mollie McDaniel and Devin Henderson pr’ed in 100 backstroke.

Coach Ken Jones said he is proud of the teams for having pr’s after such a great performance at conference. It was senior night and we are so proud of all they have accomplished over their high school years in swimming. Seniors are Mollie McDaniel, Ally Webster, Eddy Fischer, and Mason Milburn.

Frankfort Swimmers Fall to Kokomo

Frankfort boys’ and girls’ swim teams fell to Kokomo Tuesday night. Kokomo won the boys’ meet 133-50 and the girls’ meet 94-82.

Rossville Downs WEBO in Girls’ Basketball
Emma Lawson and Marley Roberts each scored 12 points to help lead Rossville to a 44-42 victory over Western Boone Tuesday night in Dover. Rossville led 24-7 at the half and then held on for the victory. Kennedy Houser had eight points and Madison Miller added seven for Rossville. Lawson had a team-high six rebounds, while Malson added five steals and four assists, both team highs.
