Chamber Adds Two New Board Members

The Clinton County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the recent addition of two new staff members to aid in operations and future growth.

Barb Gerald, a fifty-plus year resident of Clinton County, recently joined the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce staff as the Finance Director. Barb is a 1974 graduate of Frankfort High School, attended St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer and Indiana University in South Bend. She retired from AT&T as a Regional Manager in 2013 following 35 years of service.  She came out of retirement to work for Sycamore Springs Hospital in Lafayette as the Medical Records Manager/Accounts Payable Manager in 2016. Barb has been married for 31 years to husband, JR.  They have two adult children, Chelsea (30) of Oceanside, CA and CJ (28) who resides in Phoenix, AZ.

Krista Stillwell, a fifteen-year resident of Clinton County, recently partnered with the Chamber through her marketing and business strategy firm, Stillwell+Co, as the Marketing Director for the Chamber. Krista and her team will be overseeing social media, email marketing, website updates and content creation, as well as joining with the rest of the team to execute community events and campaigns. Krista graduated from IUPUI’s Kelley School of Business in 2010, and began working in media and marketing in the corporate world before returning to Clinton County and working with Shoup’s Country Foods prior to starting her own business. Stillwell+Co has been open since 2015 when Krista saw a need for a marketing and strategy advocate for small business. She currently serves a variety of industries with her services throughout central Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. Her team members, Marlea and Sydney, work remotely out of Springfield, MO. Krista and her husband Bryan have been married for eight years, and live in southern Clinton County with their dogs Dixie, Bob, and Millie, assisting on the family farm and also operating a cattle and hay business.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have this team come together for the next chapter of the Chamber,” shared Shan Sheridan, Executive Director. “As we begin what’s next in Clinton County, we need support to existing Membership Director Brande Seibert to enhance and drive value for our members, site selectors, and other stakeholders in our local community. Barb will be able to oversee financial operations while Krista assists Brande in promoting everything the Chamber has to offer. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the team if you need any help in navigating your business’s needs.”
