The Chapel Gallery in Delphi has extended the deadline for its 4th Annual Garden Post Art Contest to 
April 13.
The contest started slightly earlier this year as a means to allow for contestants to have their posts completed by the start of the spring gardening season, but the deadline has now been extended another month until April 13.
Community members wishing to participate must during regular business hours or during special weekend hours to receive their post and cap as a form of registration, and the cost is $20.
Participants may then personalize the garden pole with paint, carving, glue and more to flex their imagination and strive for the grand prize in the contest.
Posts must be submitted to the Chapel Gallery at 321 W. Main St. in Delphi by 4:30 p.m. on April 13 for consideration in the contest and the grand prize of $100.
Posts may be picked up this weekend on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Chapel Gallery is also seeking artists to participate in the Art Around the Gallery tent on June 15 during Do It in Delphi day. Interested artists may visit the Chapel Gallery for more information.
Until the end of March, community members may also visit the gallery to view the exhibit of Fred Holly’s pieces, which have been placed for sale.
