Charolette Henry

Charolette L. Henry, 83, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Wesley Manor Health Center. She was born April 28, 1937, in Clinton County to Russell and Edna Marie (Thomas) Davis. She married Marvin Henry on February 2, 1958. They later divorced.

Charolette was a 1955 graduate of Kirklin High School. She retired in 2007 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture after 36 years.

Charolette was very active in her community. She was a member of the Kirklin Christian Church, Dorcas Society, Kirklin Alumni Association, Pink Lady, Auxiliary Board, Card Club, Book Club, Clinton County Civic Theatre, and Friends of the Manor Board. Charolette served on the Northeastern Region Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee (1978-80). She was a charter member of the Kirklin Home Arts Club (1963-present) where she was a past president. She was also the past president of the Clinton County Extension Homemakers and a co-chair of the Open Class at the Clinton County Fair.

Charolette is survived by her children, Mike (Kelly) Henry of Kirklin and Jill (Nelson) Kingery of Burlington; sisters, Jane (Jack) Evans of Dayton, Mary Hollingsworth of Lebanon, and Pam Burton of Frankfort; grandchildren, Jason Crick, Jenna Crick (companion Travis Brown), and Jordan (Hannah) Henry; and great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Owen Brown, and Reese Henry.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenny Davis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 8th, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
