Cheri Renae Hitch, 56, of Michigantown, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Wesley Manor in Frankfort. She was born May 22, 1965, in Frankfort to Jacquelyn Weaver. She married Daniel Hitch in 2004; he survives.
Cheri attended Clinton Prairie High School. She had worked for Mallory’s, Marsh, and T&R Pet Shop all of Frankfort. She enjoyed family time, cooking meals, mushroom hunting, gardening, classic rock, and loved her dog “Tripp”.
In addition to her husband Daniel, Cheri is survived by daughter, Tawni (Alex) Risse; son, Coty Timmons; daughter, JC (Jake) Timmons; son, Matt (Jackie) Hitch; daughter, Cindy (Shannon) Reecer; sisters, Dawn Beckett and Bobbi Weaver; brother, Jamie (Cindy) Weaver; and grandchildren, Jakiah, Keatz, Lilah, and Tauren.
She is preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 11:11 am until the start of the funeral service at 1:11 pm at Genda Funeral Home ~ Frankfort. A live-stream of the service will be available online at www.gendafuneralhome.com for those who would like to join virtually. Burial will follow in the Whiteman Cemetery at Michigantown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society.
