Cheyanne Nicole Hathaway, 22 of Frankfort, died January 25, 2020 at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born March 13, 1997 in Frankfort, Ind. to Stephen & Jennifer (Bray) Hathaway. Cheyanne received her Certificate of Completion from Frankfort High School in 2016. She enjoyed being around people, music, lights, her dog Izzy and of course picking on her brother. She was a true fighter, a survivor and one tough girl who was also our Brat Girl and Rotten Kid as some of us would often call her. Cheyanne had a very good life, she has been to Florida, to the movies, museum, swimming, festivals and had some pretty awesome birthday parties, holidays and school activities. What she most enjoyed in every moment of her 22 years is the many family and friends, that she could make laugh, pick on, play peek a boo with, try and trip when they walk by, try and push away from, then smile like she got by with something to make them come back and give her more attention. Everyone who has come into contact with her has fell in love with her endless smiles and that red hair.
She is survived by her parents, Stephen & Jennifer Hathaway of Frankfort, brother, Brayden Hathaway of Frankfort, fuzzy sister, Izzy, her dog, maternal grandparents Robert & Debbie McDole of Frankfort, grandparents, Larry & Denise Bray of Frankfort, paternal grandmother, Kathy Mitchell of Lebanon, great grandmother, Virginia Thompson of Frankfort, uncles, Jared (Jamie) Bray of Michigantown and Jamie Bray of Metamora, IL. Many great aunts, great uncles, and cousins also survive. She is preceded in death by grandfather, Ed Mitchell and great grandfather, Jerry Thompson.
