Child Solicitation Arrest Made at Lebanon High School

Lebanon Police have arrested Lebanon High School teacher Brian J. Boyer 39, of West Lafayette, on preliminary charges of Attempted Child Solicitation a level 4 felony.

On Friday January 15, at approximately 10:09 a.m., Lebanon Police responded to an attempted child solicitation occurring at Lebanon High School. Responding officers were told that two individuals were at the Lebanon Schools Administration building wanting to file a complaint on a teacher. Officers spoke to the individuals who had already met with Boyer at Lebanon High School. The complainants stated they were at the school posing as an underage female. The complainants stated Boyer was having inappropriate conversations with them posed as an underage female using a mobile app.

Investigators at the Lebanon Police Department will continue to work closely with the Boone County Prosecutors Office and Lebanon Community School Corporation as this is still an ongoing investigation. Formal charges will be brought forth by Boone County Prosecutors Office.
