Christmas With A Cop Is Right Around The Corner In Boone County

The 26th Annual Boone County Fraternal Order of Police “Christmas with a Cop” event is right around the corner with applications due by Nov. 22 at 4 p.m.

Last year, the Fraternal Order of Police Richard G. Brown Memorial Lodge No. 110 raised over $55,000 for the program, providing an opportunity for more than 400 children 12 and under to receive coats, shoes, boots and clothing.

“Let’s come together once again to spread joy and warmth this holiday season,” organizers wrote. “Christmas with a Cop encourages positive interactions between children and law enforcement, fostering a sense of community and unity.”

Applications to participate in the program are available at the Boone County Sheriff’s Office at the temporary administrative building at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds in Lebanon, the Lebanon Police Department at 201 E. Main St. in Lebanon, the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department at 6208 Veterans Dr. in Whitestown, Zionsville Town Hall at 1100 W. Oak St. in Zionsville and Zionsville Police Department at 1075 Parkway Dr. in Zionsville.

Applications must be returned by 4 p.m. on Nov. 22 to any of the law enforcement locations Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Contributions for the program may be made out to Boone County FOP Christmas with a Cop at PO Box 432, Lebanon, IN 46052.
