The City of Frankfort Parks & Recreation Department is inviting families to celebrate spring at the 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at TPA Park. This free, family-friendly event promises fun for all ages with 10,000 hidden eggs, festive activities, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at TPA Park, located at 1 Adrian Marks Drive in Frankfort.
“We encourage all families to gather their Easter baskets and hop over to the park for this spring celebration,” said Ryan Edgar, Frankfort Parks Superintendent. “We’re excited to receive a visit from the Easter Bunny and look forward to hosting food trucks and multiple kid-friendly activities.”
Children will be divided into age-specific egg hunt groups to ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone. Age categories include 0–3 years, 4–6 years, and 7–9 years. Before and after each round of egg hunting, families can enjoy music and bounce house fun throughout the park.
A variety of food and treat options will also be available for purchase from local favorites including Bruno’s Pizza on Wheels, Kona Ice, and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee.
“Our community annual egg hunt is one of the many ways to enjoy our parks and kick off the warmer days ahead,” said Judy Sheets. “Families and friends can come together for this exciting Easter event and make wonderful memories.”
Community members who would like to contribute can donate unopened bags of fun-size candy, small toys, stickers, and similar items. Donations may be dropped off at the Parks Office inside TPA Park between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Businesses interested in sponsoring the event are encouraged to call 765.659.3422 for more information.
Don’t forget your basket — it’s sure to be an egg-citing day at the park!
