The City of Frankfort announced that offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 14 in observance of Columbus Day, and trash pickup will not occur on Monday.
The City stated that the Frankfort Police Department and Frankfort Fire Department services will not be affected by the holiday, but administrative offices will be closed. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The Frankfort Street Department will not operate trash services on Monday. Sanitation is expected to run a double pickup on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Trash carts must be placed in the designated area for the residence by 7 a.m. on Tuesday to ensure trash pickup. Routes will run differently due to the double pickup.
